Day Without Art or DWA is an annual Web action which is an effort to increase recognition of the grave impact of HIV/AIDS. Day Without Art occurs on World AIDS Day-- every December first. Many Web sites participate by posting one of the DWA banners. Many sites change backgrounds to black on this day, and may even replace their site for the day. DWA is coordinated by an organization called Creative Time. Visit the Day Without Art site to consider the various strategies participants may take in joining this effort.
